Employment Opportunities

You may apply for a position with Hope Village by completing and submitting an application to our Administration Office at Hope Village Monday - Thursday from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm and Friday from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm. Our physical address is 4541 FM 2351 in Friendswood. We are sorry that we do not accept online applications at this time.

All positions require passing a criminal background check and drug test.

We currently have the following open positions:

Director of Villager Development - Immediate full-time opening.
The Director of Villager Development is an integral part of the executive team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Executive Director.
Responsibilities include:
Develop and implement programs that align with our mission statement and also meet or exceed all regulatory statutes.
Supervise, in various capacities, approximately 30 staff.
Work closely with the executive team to advance our staff development program.
Contribute to the Villager assessments, care plans and behavior intervention plans and interface with regulatory entities to ensure compliance.
Promote our mission and family connected culture to the community.
Candidate Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in social work or other social science
Minimum of 5 years working in some hands-on capacity with the population we serve.
Minimum of 3 years in a management capacity.
Must possess excellent interpersonal, mediation and communication skills and be a proficient public speaker.
Licensed Social Worker and Licensed Child Care Administrator for the state of Texas or ability to obtain these licenses quickly.
Be available to work special events outside of regular hours and rotate on-call schedule with executive team.
Must be familiar with employment practice and laws as it pertains to hiring, training, performance counseling and job performance reviews.

Day Program Group Leader - Immediate full-time opening in our Education Building. Are you a cheerful and caring individual who enjoys working with the intellectually and developmentally disabled? Supervise and assist clients with their work, recreation and daily activities. Regular working hours for this position are Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Prefer experience teaching children or individuals with special needs in a classroom setting.

Direct Care or CNA - Full-time, evening and overnight shifts on weekdays and weekends. Benefits with full-time employment after 60 days. Must have a high school diploma or GED.

Home Manager - Immediate full-time position
The Manager will oversee all daily operations of the home for 14 residents including, but not limited to:
Planning daily activities to ensure all Villager’s needs are met according to a service plan and in a safe environment according to DADS licensing standards, Health Department and Fire Marshal.
Managing five staff members including work scheduling and handling of off hours emergency calls. Staff must be able to get in touch with you at all times.
Procuring all supplies including medication, health and cleaning supplies, nutrition, etc.
Serving as the point of contact for families and service providers to ensure continuity of care.

Normal work schedule is Monday - Friday from 7:30 am - 3:30 pm., but will require additional hours as the need arises. Must be able and willing to work or find a replacement for shifts of staff members who have unscheduled absences, or for unfilled shifts.

Must have a high school diploma.
Minimum of 1 year management experience in an assisted living facility (preferably a facility with at least 10 individuals).
Must have reliable transportation.
Must have a valid Texas driver's license and be able and willing to drive a small 15 passenger bus.
