Families of the residents and day program participants at Hope Village are encouraged to join the Hope Village Parents Group. Annual dues are $25.00 for parents and active memberships, $35.00 for sponsoring memberships and $50.00 for patrons. This group assists the administration and staff by providing support and volunteers for field trips and other activities including fundraising events.

Each year, the Parents Group provides lunch for all of the players in the annual

golf tournament, sponsors a dance for all area special needs individuals, helps take Villagers to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and each October the group plans and hosts "Fun Day." Fun Day involves games, a live band, dancing, a parade with Villagers dressed in costumes and a Barbeque. The Parents Group also hosts a Christmas party for the staff of Hope Village to show appreciation for the care they give year-round.

The Parents Group meets quarterly to discuss upcoming events and hear from guest speakers on issues of interest to the group. Newsletters are also sent to families and friends with information concerning Hope Village.

Hope Village, through the Parents Group, participates in the Kroger's "Share Card" Program. Through this program, one percent of the amount of your Kroger purchases will be donated to Hope Village. To obtain a Kroger card, please call 281.482.7926.
