For your convenience, a 24 hour drop box is located on the north side of the shop. For donations of large or fragile items, please drop off during normal business hours or call the Resale Shop at 281-996-7045.

The Hope Village Resale Shop is located in Friendswood (south of Houston) on Hope Village Road, 1/2 block south of FM 2351. The resale shop opened in March 2006 and celebrated its Grand Opening in June 2006. It has been a wonderful success so far! We depend on the support of the public, not only by shopping in our store, but by donating clothing, accessories and household items that are in "like new" condition. The Hope Foundation for Retarded Children is a 501 (c)(3) organization and donations are tax deductible as allowed by law. As with all of our retail ventures, all proceeds support the programs offered by Hope Village and also offer opportunities for Villagers to receive job training and learn new skills.

Originally the workshop, this space was completely renovated in 2004-2005 by board member Maurice Estlinbaum, Wayne Robinson of Northwinds Construction, and many other friends. The majority of funds for this project were raised by Maurice at his annual Jack Montgomery and Matt Benton Memorial Fish Fry. Wayne and Judy Robinson also donated much of the labor and materials for this project. For his efforts, Wayne was awarded the City of Friendswood's third Community Spirit Award honoring citizens that have gone above and beyond to help others. The Lyons Foundation and the Albert and Ethel Herzstein Foundation also awarded generous grants to help us complete this project. Thank You to all  who so generously gave to make our dream a reality!
